Dr. Venkataramanan
Dr. Venkataramanan began her training at the University of Minnesota where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Psychology. She then attended Teachers College – Columbia University for a Master of Arts/Master of Education in Psychological Counseling.
After her Masters, Dr. Venkataramanan practiced as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor prior to earning her doctorate from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University/Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Venkataramanan completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, NY. She has also trained in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings across the New York City area, including North Central Bronx Hospital, Berkeley College, and Metropolitan Center for Mental Health.
In her various clinical roles, Dr. Venkataramanan has worked with individuals, couples, and families, and led groups for child, teens, and adults with various mood and anxiety disorders.
Dr. Venkataramanan is licensed as a clinical psychologist in New York, New Jersey, and Florida.
