Hi, I’m Nicole! My path to becoming a therapist began in a different field—accounting—after graduating from Rutgers University. While that work offered stability, I realized I wanted a deeper sense of purpose. Returning to therapy helped me better understand my own patterns and values, which ultimately led me to pursue counseling. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and currently practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in Texas, under supervision.

I primarily work with college students and young adults, and also see adults navigating life transitions, identity development, relationships, grief, trauma, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. Many of my clients feel stuck in repeating patterns or unsure why certain challenges keep showing up.

My approach is collaborative, curious, and compassionate, blending deeper exploration with practical tools from person-centered therapy, CBT, and DBT-informed skills. In sessions, we work together to better understand emotional patterns, past experiences, and relationship dynamics, while also building skills that help you navigate difficult moments in everyday life.

I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be honest about what they’re experiencing, while also developing the insight and tools needed to move forward. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my expressive husky, working on creative projects, planning events, and finding small ways to bring curiosity and balance into everyday life.

If you’re looking for a therapist who values authenticity, warmth, and honest conversation, I’d be glad to support you in the process.
