At Real Talk Psych, I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can slow down, feel seen, and be understood without judgment. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and cultural humility, with a focus on helping clients feel supported as they navigate life’s complexity and change.

Throughout my life and clinical work, I’ve seen how often people carry the weight of family responsibilities, cultural expectations, grief, uncertainty, and the pressure of showing up for others while putting their own needs aside. Because of this, I hold a strong belief that people are doing the best they can with the tools and support they have at the time. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to hold everything alone.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, grief, identity development, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. I am especially drawn to working with individuals who tend to care deeply for others while struggling to prioritize themselves, set boundaries, or break out of long-standing patterns.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both insight and practical support. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches depending on each client’s needs, helping you better understand emotional patterns, relationships, and experiences while also building tools you can use in everyday life. I can be direct when needed, but I always aim for those moments to feel supportive, respectful, and grounded in care.

I am committed to creating an inclusive and affirming space where clients from all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences feel welcomed and respected.

I believe healing is not about perfection—it is about developing self-awareness, self-compassion, and the ability to make choices aligned with your values rather than fear, guilt, or old patterns. It is a process of learning to show up more fully as yourself, at your own pace.

In our early work together, we will focus on building connection, understanding your goals, and identifying patterns that may be contributing to current challenges. Over time, we work toward strengthening insight, building coping tools, and supporting meaningful, sustainable change.
